Advertising Rules
Every advert is reviewed against these rules before it goes live.
You must
- Own the car or be authorised to sell it.
- Describe the car accurately, including mileage, history and known faults.
- Use your own photos of the actual car.
- State a genuine asking price in pounds sterling.
You must not
- Advertise stolen, written-off (without declaring the category) or outstanding-finance vehicles without disclosure.
- Include personal contact details, links or payment requests in the description.
- Post duplicate adverts for the same car.
- Use offensive, misleading or discriminatory content.
Moderation
- We review new and edited adverts. If changes are needed, we'll tell you why in your account. Repeated breaches may lead to account suspension.
